An excellent crop of familiar Stargate faces in “Betrayal” the recent episode of Arrow which aired on the 6th of February.
We’ll begin with the two actresses, Agam Darshi (SGA & SGU) who played Anastasia
and Ona Grauer (SG1 & SGA) who played Vivian. The two actors were Adrian Holmes
(SG1) who played Frank and once again Roger R. Cross who played Lucas.
Once you start looking Stargate has it’s fingers via former performers in so many pies:)

The first instalment of the new Stargate SG1 action/adventure game is due in March from MGM and Arkalis Interactive. Once again it’s aimed at the tablet market and will include the original actors providing the voice work for some pretty decent graphics.

I watched the Syfy “b” movie creature feature Tasmanian Devil today and spotted four former Stargate actors in good meaty roles. Up first is Terry Chen (SG1), then Mike Dopud (SGU, SG1 and SGA), Roger R. Cross (SG1) and finally Scott McNeil (SG1).

I watched Supernatural and Arrow this afternoon and got a healthy dose of two former Stargate actors, the first is Alaina Huffman who played Lt. Tamara Johansen in Stargate Universe as well as Dinah Lance (Black Canary) in Smallville. She played Josie Sands in the Supernatural episode As Time Goes By which aired on Wednesday the 30th January.

My next pleasant surprise was seeing Janina Gavankar in Arrow playing the cop McKenna Hall in the episode Vertigo which also aired on the 30th. Janina is a regular in True Blood and also appeared in The Gates but for our purposes she played Sgt Dusty Mehra in the excellent Stargate Atlantis episode Whispers.

A couple of television spots for Stargate alumni this week on shows broadcast in the states. Up first we have Mr Woolsey himself Robert Picardo who played Jason Cooper in The Mentalist episode “The Red Barn” and then we have Jacqueline Samuda who played a TV anchor woman in the episode “Burned” from Arrow. Kudos to Jeff for spotting Jacqueline, it’s been a while since we saw her playing the Gou’ald Nirti.

It’s been reported that Corin Nemec the former star of Stargate SG1, Parker Lewis Can’t Lose and lead in many a scifi feature was injured in a boating accident whilst filming on his latest project in Belize. The accident happened Sunday the 20th of January when the boat he was on struck a submerged barge and he was thrown into the boats frame breaking his femur in three places and losing a substantial amount of blood. After surgery and blood transfusions Corin is now in recovery.

Carmen Argenziano (Rick) and Michael DeLuise (Jo Jo) guest starred in “You Wanna See Something?” the eleventh episode of Bunheads which aired in the US a couple of weeks ago on ABC Family.

I only just got around to watching the episode but I highly recommend the show for it’s jovial and whimsical humour.
