The Canadian scifi comedy Space MilkShake has finally been made available to the public after doing the festival circuit as an $8 digital download, hopefully a DVD and/or Blu-ray will turn up with lots of extras such as a commentary track. The movie is set onboard a space station which is responsible for maintaining their area of space and removing any debris that can impede space flight so glorified garbage men in space, it stars Amanda Tapping, Robin Dunne, Kristin Kreuk and Billy Boyd.
I’m finally getting started with the new season of US television so I got to watch the latest episodes of Arrow and Supernatural both of which had former Stargate actors in guest spots. The first was Patrick Gilmore playing Erlich Kelso in the second episode of the third season of Arrow called “Sara” and then it was David Nykl playing Lester Morris in the season ten episode “Reichenbach”. Surprisingly neither actor was playing a particularly nice guy:)

Syfy Acquires Dark Matter Graphic Novel Adaptation From Stargate Team | TVLine
Dark Matter the graphic novel created by Paul Mullie and Joseph Mallozzi is going into production as a 13 part series produced by Prodigy Pictures.
Syfy have secured some broadcast rights with global distribution being handled by Endemol.
I watched Ferocious Planet a couple of years ago on the Syfy channel and I saw it listed from a third party on Amazon so I bought myself a copy on DVD. Joe battling dinosaurs what could be better:)
I found well I bought this little beauty of a Stargate which is part of the Halloween update to The Simpsons android/iOS game Tapped Out.
The latest episode of the Ten Forward podcast (119) has a segment on the music of Joel Goldsmith mostly dealing with his work on Stargate since that took up a significant chunk of his too short a life. The show also looks at the music of a few other composers who have worked in and out of the scifi genre and includes clips of their work and a full discussion by Matt, Sina and Chris.
The early Asgard episodes were highly entertaining and full of potential and still some of my favourites, thanks to SF Debris for allowing the embedding of the Thor’s Chariot video and pay a visit to his website, lots of videos covering many shows and all fun.
Now that would put the fear of any god into you if it was in front of a Goa’uld temple, thanks to @killer_kitsch for originally tweeting the picture. The statue made of scrap metals is I believe part of a collection in Thailand.
A new Opinionated Review from SF Debris, this time around it’s the Stargate SG1 episode Bloodlines.
Great to see Garwin Sanford make his first appearance on Cedar Cove in the season 2 episode Secrets and Lies, he plays the shady Colin who it seems has or had a very close relationship with one or two of the townsfolk and another guest spot for Mike Dopud who returns as the private eye Roy Macafee.
The latest opinionated review from SF Debris is for the Stargate Atlantis episode The Tao of Rodney, always a delight when he look at an episode of Stargate but check out his site there are videos covering a whole range of genre shows and media.
