Mr. Hockey: The Gordie Howe Story has now aired in both the US and Canada the two nations which would recognise the man’s pedigree and status plus both big Hockey nations, the question of the movie crossing the pond has still to be answered. It does however come to Blu-ray as a Walmart exclusive on May 7th and a general release on the 9th of July so opportunity for all to see Michael Shanks in a role he seems to have embraced and may do more for his status than Stargate or Saving Hope.
I’m a couple of weeks behind on my Hawaii 5-0 viewing so only caught Robert Picardo’s guest spot on the show last night in the episode Olelo Pa’a, a small role but hints of more to come or maybe that’s wishful thinking. It’s a pity the show has taken the CSI Miami mantel for being ridiculously over the top and at times cringe worthy because the cast is good, production high and it looks/sounds beautiful.
The third and final installment of the Children of the Gods Opinionated review.
Always a pleasure to see a former Stargate actor appear on television, in this case Cliff Simon has a small role with dialogue in this weeks episode of NCIS called “Revenge” which I have just finished watching.
Enjoy and if you like it then pay the SF Debris site a visit, watch some more and let Charles know you like his work:)
Always a pleasure to watch these reviews, funny and entertaining and now it’s time for an opinionated review of Stargate SG1 Children of the Gods the pilot for the series made for Showtime.

A promo image of Danielle Nicolet in her upcoming ABC sitcom Family Tools which premieres May 1st at 8.30/7.30pm. I’m sure you don’t need reminding that Dani guest starred in the SG1 episode Menace as “Reese” and before that a recurring character on 3rd Rock from the Sun.
I’m currently rewatching the first season of Continuum in preparation for the second season which returns to Canadian screens on April 21st and the US on the 7th of June, not sure about the UK.
I was watching the sixth episode “Time’s Up” and noticed a big beefy well dressed individual and thanks to recently watching Stargate SG1 his face sprung out, Mark Gibbon formerly the Jaffa M’zel & Thor hologram was playing the head of security Frank Bolo. Mark has also had recurring roles on Smallville and guest spots on Stargate Atlantis, First Wave, Flash Gordon and Once Upon A Time.
It was great to see Alessandro Juliani back on the small screen last night in a decent guest role in “Framed” the April 4th episode of Motive. He played a gallery owner (Serge Bisson) who was neither the victim or the killer of this story but for a small role he looked good and gave a nice performance.
Alessandro is perhaps best known for playing Felix Gaeta in Battlestar Galactica but he also guest starred in the Stargate SG1 episode “Scorched Earth” and “Moebius 1&2” as well as a recurring role on Smallville.
Amanda was the special guest on The Rush on Shaw TV (Tuesday 9th April), her interview begins around the 18 minute mark but watch the entire live stream, it’s all entertaining and good to see Robin Dunne having a great time.
90s Star ‘Parker Lewis’ — Gimp on Aisle 4 | TMZ.com.
Corin is still dealing with the long term effects of his boat accident on the set of his last feature, it looks like the road to recovery is going to be a little longer than hoped for but he retains his humour and warmth as you can see via his twitter conversations. We all hope to see Corin up and around on his own two feet but for now he has our best wishes and hopes for better news in the coming months.
A Stargate treat from Nerdy Nummies, not only a fantastic looking piece of cookieness but what a wonderful presentation, seriously infectious humour and no one and I mean no one wouldn’t enjoy watching Rosanna bake:)

Shades of Stargate Universe with Peter and David but a lot more to these two guys than a science fiction show cruelly cancelled.
