The latest opinionated review arrives in the shape of the season 7 episode Death Knell a rip tooting action episode from Stargate SG1 dismantled and presented a new by Charles.
So I watched the SG1 episode Collateral Damage this morning and a few hours later watched the latest episode of Almost Human “Perception” which was broadcast on the 10th. I immediately recognised Anna Galvin who played Dr. Reya Varrick from the SG1 episode in the role of Mrs. Hoving in Almost Human. An additional Stargate connection is her role as Mrs Armstrong on four episodes of Stargate Universe so a two for one spot:)
The Red Road will premiere on The Sundance Channel February 27th, Jason Momoa stars along with Martin Henderson, Julianne Nicholson and Tom Sizemore. There is an official trailer but it’s geo-locked and not turned up on youtube as of yet.

I watched the latest episode of Psych this afternoon entitled “Cog Blocked” and it featured two former Stargate actors and a well known name from behind the camera of many a Stargate episode. This season eight episode was directed by Brad Turner who directed 14 episodes of SG1 and SGA before making a bigger splash with 24 and numerous television shows since then. The episode also featured Vincent Gale as Mr Grouse and Aleks Paunovic as the bartender both speaking roles and each making a significant contribution to the whole. We also got a brief appearance from Luvia Petersen who I wish had been on Stargate but well we couldn’t have everything:)
Aleks played Rakai on Stargate Atlantis and Shaq’rel on SG1
Vincent played Morrison on Stargate Universe

As always it’s such a pleasure to see the stars, guest stars and extras from Stargate making appearances on other shows, more so when it’s unexpected so watching the latest episode of Bones delivered the ever satisfying Robert Picardo onto my television. Robert was playing Dr. Lawrence Rozran in the episode “The Heiress in the Hill” which aired on the 31st of January on FOX.

Brandy made her name in the modelling and erotica side of the business before going mainstream with roles in Andromeda, Baywatch and Whistler. She guest starred as Norina in the Atlantis episode Inferno and Zaren in the SG1 ep Endgame and was excellent in both roles.

Mitchell Kosterman
Mitchell played Colonel Tom Rundell in the SG1 episodes Heroes and Special Agent James Hamner in the earlier episode Seth. He has also guest starred on Smallville, John Doe, MacGyver and Millennium. IMDB
Robert Knepper had a great role in the recent episode of Hawaii Five-0 which aired on the 17th entitled “Hana Lokomaika’i” and played an internal affairs investigator working on a case involving Kelly. While from this episode it looks like he is playing a by the book IA officer he still makes you dislike the character which for me is a credit to his performance:)
Robert played Simeon in Stargate Universe and yes he was a bad guy, he also starred in the final season of Heroes as yes another bad guy and of course he was in Prison Break as a very bad guy. Cult, Blacklist, Arrow the list goes on and on and not forgetting he’ll feature in the final two movies of the Hunger Games franchise.
It’s always a shame when a marriage or any partnership fails especially when kids are involved and other issues which may cloud the horizon leading towards an amicable break up. We hope Joe and Katherine all the best for the future and there is nothing on the way to feed the gossip hungry gutter press.
