There have been a handful of people who have had far more than their fair share in shaping the Stargate franchise, setting aside Jonathan and Brad who created the television show and Rob who came onto the show for the second episode onwards the group gets even smaller.
Today the 6th of November we are celebrating one of these guys birthdays namely Mr Peter DeLuise, writer, actor, producer and all round good guy and lets not forget a shining example of how to share the limelight with friends and family:) IMDB

Robert C Cooper celebrates his birthday today (October 14th) and without a doubt he has been a cornerstone of the entire Stargate television franchise having either written, directed, produced (in all it’s forms) from SG1’s second episode through to the finale of SGU. June the second is a very monumentous date for Stargate birthdays.
The darling of Firefly and more recently The LA Complex Jewel Staite celebrates her birth today, she guest starred in the Stargate Atlantis episode “Instinct” as Ellia under heavy prosthetics and then returned to the show as the cast regular Dr Jennifer Keller.

Sharing the second of June the queen of Firely and recently V and Homeland Morena Baccarin is celebrating her birthday. She had a recurring role as the nemesis of the milky way galaxy “Adria” and made an awfully big splash for only appearing in a few episodes (and Ark of Truth) but was pivotal that seasons story line. The first day of June provides two notable birthdays, the first is Patrick Gilmore who played Dr. Dale Volker in Stargate Universe he also appeared in both SG1 and Atlantis. To add to his scifi credentials he also gust starred in Battlestar, Defying Gravity, 2012 and Fringe.

The very unique talent that is Robert Carlyle and yes one of the most unexpected stars of the Stargate franchise celebrates his birth today (April 14th).
He played Dr Nicholas Rush on Stargate Universe and if we can be grateful for anything from that shows failure to thrive on Syfy it’s Robert’s performance as Mr Gold/Rumplestiltskin in ABC’s Once Upon A Time.
