We have a couple of Stargate Birthdays today but alas one of the gentlemen left this mortal coil a decade ago but certainly left his mark in the Stargate mythology.

A happy birthday to Christopher McDonald, he played Senator Alan Armstrong in Stargate Universe and had recurring roles on Boardwalk Empire and Harry’s Law.

Keene played our beloved Ernest Littlefield in the Stargate SG1 episode The Torment of Tantalus as well as appearing in other genre shows such as Voyager and The Pretender.

We have a foursome of Stargate Birthdays today.
Up first a very happy birthday to Enrico Colantoni who was fantastic as Burke in the Stargate SG1 episode Evolution part 2. He also starred in Veronica Mars, Flashpoint and is currently a recurring character in Person Of Interest.

Many happy returns today to Kristen Dalton who played Anna in the SG1 episode Resurrection and Dana Bright in The Dead Zone television series. She has also appeared in Sliders, Profit and JAG.

We have three Stargate birthdays today the 7th of February.
We’ll kick off with James Spader the original Daniel Jackson from the Stargate movie who then made himself a huge tv career via Boston Legal, The Practice and The Office.
We then have one of my personal favourite Stargate characters in Radek Zelenka who was  played by the wonderful David Nykl on both Stargate Atlantis and SG1. He has also appeared in Once Upon A Time, Continuum and a number of scifi/creature features including his own The Beast from Bottomless Lake.
Last but not least a happy birthday to Frank Cassini who played Colonel Sean Grieves in the SG1 episode The Sentinel and has guest starred on Continuum, Wolf Lake and Supernatural.

Harley Jane Kozak who played Sara O’Neill in the Stargate SG1 episode Cold Lazarus.
She was also a long term regular on the US soap Santa Barbara, Chicago Hope and Knightwatch.

A Happy Birthday to Calum Worthy who also shares the 28th, he played one of the youngsters discovered in the Atlantis episode Childhood’s End,
he also starred in the the young adults scifi series Stormworld and had
guest roles on Psych and Caprica.

Tamlyn Tomita played Shen Xiaoyi in two episodes of Stargate SG1 and two episodes of Atlantis,she also appeared in Eureka and Glee. Chris Gauthier played Mattas in the Stargate Atlantis episode Trinity as well as appearing as Hertis in The Ark of Truth and guest starred in both Eureka and Smallville. Last but not least is Hrothgar Mathews who played Dr Hamilton in the Stargate SG1 episode Prodigy and had guest spots on The X-Files and more recently Fringe.
