Newly discovered top secret files from the Pentagon reveal more of the history of the Stargate and footage of it’s activation as one intrepid guy journeys through the gate which leads Daniel back to Catherine Langford to find answers to questions that had never been asked.

This is a entertaining episode, some funny moments yet reveals the scope of Daniels desire for knowledge and the belief that is a reason to exist. Introducing another person from the Stargate movie gives the TV versions a little more backbone and while Catherine is played by a different actress it’s no big deal after all Daniel is not Spader.

The SG-1 team is sent after the SG-9 team that has failed to return. They find that SG-9’s captain, having been treated like a god by planetary inhabitants, is drunk with power and is tyrannizing them. Can they overcome him?

Once again edited by my kind co-host Jarrak, who put together that cool intro. Also Jack says “to oz” at one point in this episode.

Indeed count remains at zero however 🙁 so we’re nought for 5

I know you can do better folks, come on, supply an intro, it’ll be fun.

The Stargate base is put in deadly peril when it is contaminated with a dangerous infection which causes its victims to become mindlessly animalistic brutes.

this is a much tighter episode, I’ve spent ages editing it down, cutting out the ehms and ahs and me blowing in to the microphone. i’ve added audio clips as well.

Enjoy and comment gatecast at phazecast dot com

In this episode we talk about the First season episode, Emancipation.

SG-1 arrives on a planet controlled by the Shavadai, decedents of Mongols, who view women as subservient and submissive. The presence of SG-1 Captain Samantha Carter causes an instant uproar. Carter is forced to adapt to the custom’s, but is soon kidnapped by the chief’s son who trades her in another village. As SG-1 tries to find her, Carter must survive in this society to bring about freedom for all women.

We also mention Carter’s hair products. 😉 What brand does she use? Carter’s Super-hold Mousse?

yuupodated with better editing by mike and a temp intro music thingy

WE’RE BACK!

Today we have an episode we recorded months ago. It’s the second episode of SG1. It’s a little raw, it had minimal editing.. We just wanted to get it out.

We are back on track to record and release episodes on a regular basis. Tomorrow we’ll post episode 3.
