Jan Rubes (June 6th 1920 – June 29th 2009)
Jan played Dr Nicholas Ballard in the Stargate SG1 episode The Crystal Skull. He was an accomplished television and movie actor in both his native and adopted language beginning in 1950 with the Canadian feature Forbidden Journey and ending with Appassionata: The Extraordinary Life & Music of Sonia Eckhardt-Gramatté. In between he appeared on Due South, Believe, ER, Witness and The X-Files. IMDB
