A very happy birthday on the to Mel Harris who graced Stargate SG1 in three episodes paying the Ascended being Oma Desala.
Mel is perhaps better known for her time on the hit show Thirty Something and more recently Saints and Sinners and she has guest starred on JAG, House, Cold Case and The West Wing.
