Well we were not going to do a favourite episode poll for Stargate Universe due to the more serialised nature of the show and only having forty episodes to choose from but what the hell. The poll will be open for a couple of weeks and we’ll announce the results when we release the Universe wrap up show so select upto ten episodes and we’ll see what the results will be, maybe surprising, maybe not.

This weeks episode of the Gatecast takes a look back at Stargate Atlantis and their five year adventure in the Pegasus galaxy. As we did in the SG1 retrospective (mainly to keep the discussion short) we compiled a few questions and then had a round table type chat, it was fun.
We did have some recording issues when we lost the primary track so the audio quality is far from perfect but listenable so we hope you enjoy our answers to the various questions, if you have alternatives then feel free to let us know. Our thanks to both Brad and Thomas for joining us for the show, rare we have guests from Australia and America on the same podcast but it worked out ok apart from said recording failure which wasn’t skype’s fault. Next week we are back to our Stargate Universe adventure with the episode Malice and are joined by Stephen so not long to go before we have covered all the live action Stargate made so far.
We also want to thank everyone that voted in the Stargate Atlantis Favourite Episode Poll, we ended up with eighty responses and of them there were thirty eight people who left contact information and we’re included in the prize draw. Welcome to our latest poll, this one is for your favourite episodes from Stargate Atlantis. Well here we are in 2016 with the final bonus episode of this holiday season and it’s a look back at the ten years of Stargate SG1 and incorporates the listener poll which reveals their ten favourite episodes of the series. So I warned you that we would be having a poll for the favourite episode of the entire series of Stargate SG1. I have allowed upto ten selections from the 200+ episodes but be advised I have included two part episodes (with the same name) as one selection thus hopefully not splitting their votes. There will be a prize draw at the end of the poll so as long as we know you have entered and can validate your online identity (Twitter, Facebook, Google+ or Email) then you’ll be entered.
After we left Stargate SG1 behind it seems like only yesterday we wrapped up the third season of Atlantis but five months just flew by so here we are:)
Once again we were joined by Brad for this Stargate Atlantis Season 4 Wrap Up Show but alas scheduling and real life got in the way and Alan had to be elsewhere so just this time it’s Brad and Mike talking Atlantis and yet the raw recording was still well over three hours:) Thanks to everyone that voted in the poll, not as many as last time which surprised me given the high regard this season is held in but enough to make the poll valid and with no real surprises. We also want to thank everyone that joined us for an episode this season, gold stars to Brad, Jeff, Thomas, Andrew, Andres, Phil and Ian, look out for some of them on the fifth season episodes.

So which is your favourite episode from the first season of Stargate Atlantis?
The results will be used for the upcoming season wrap up show.
Just wondering if our listeners have a preference to how we handle the upcoming two parter on Stargate Atlantis The Storm and The Eye so here is a quick poll which will run for a week.
There has been some discussion over the format of the next few years of the Gatecast in terms of merging the last three seasons of SG1 with the first three seasons of Atlantis. Now there is some crossover, not a huge amount but may be worth linking the two shows on a permanent or temporary basis. In general I prefer one approach and Alan another so why not have a poll where the people that actually listen can have their say:)

Welcome to the The Gatecast Stargate SG1 season 6 wrap up show in which Alan and Mike and special guest Colin (Trek News & Views host) talk about the sixth season, the good the bad and the cheesy. The results of our season 6 poll will be included as Stargate fans grade the episodes and lets not forget the Indeed count.
Huge thanks for all the feedback over this last season of The Gatecast, Facebook has been a excellent resource but perhaps Twitter has provided the biggest exposure boost even though it’s not ideal for anything other than immediate feedback. Ok folks it’s the time to vote for your favourite episode from the fourth season of SG1. At this point we’ve covered around half the season but I suspect most of you are not new to the show so you can vote in good faith.
